The Zonin Amarone della Valpolicella is unquestionably the flagship of Zonin. This oenological marvel of exceptional density fills the glass with its intense ruby color. The first nose is marked by expressive aromas of plums, forest fruits and dried fruits. These are quickly joined by notes of oak, cedar and cinnamon and herbal nuances reminiscent of thyme and bay leaf. On the palate, the Zonin Amarone della Valpolicella displays incredible intensity and balsamic density. Its passage on the tongue is velvety and full of character while its finish is as much fruity as mineral.
One thing is certain: we are dealing here with a very large Amarone with an unbeatable price-performance ratio.
