Herdade do Peso Reserve Red 2019

It has a deep red-garnet hue. Its bouquet is intense and complex with a prevalence of very ripe red and black fruits (mulberry, raspberry and plum), integrated with spicy and balmy notes, such as pepper, mint and tobacco. Its palate shows excellent balance between alcohol and acidity, giving it a very elegant and complex flavour, long and persistent, and well combined with soft and dense tannins, a feature resulting from its maturation in the bottle.

Store and Serve Advices: It will reach its best 4 to 6 years after the vintage, but it may go on having a positive evolution for several years. The bottled should be kept horizontally in a dry and cool place, sheltered from light. The wine should also be decanted prior to serving. Serve between 16ºC-18ºC.

Food Pairing: Ideal with rich and spicy meat dishes, game and strong cheeses.
