Their name comes from “strofissià” which, in Genoese dialect, means “to rub”. Thanks to their particular tapered and braided shape, the Trofie Barilla perfectly retains all the seasonings while their typical roughness due to the passage through a typical bronze shape delights the palate, bite after bite. Ideal for bringing simple and tasty dishes to the table.
